10 Things Guys Should Avoid on the First Date:

I developed a list of things that men shouldn’t do on a first date.  If you practice any of these dating faux paws now is the time to change to you can get the girl and the relationship.

Dating Advice:  Don’t ask her out, if you don’t have time.

It’s never a good idea to ask a girl out when you don’t have the time to devote to her.  When you’re out and your phone is ringing every 5 minutes, she is going to get annoyed.  Is this really your version of a date?  Leaving the date several times to answer phone calls from the office or whichever place may be calling is truly unacceptable behavior.  Men, pay attention your women, show them they’re important.

Dating Advice:  Don’t get drunk.

Surprisingly, a lot of men fail this basic dating tip.  When you’re on date with her, you need to keep your drinking to a minimum.  You don’t want to come off as sloppy and disrespectable to her.  She is expecting a nice evening out with the guy she likes, not a drunk fool.  Its ok to have some drinks, but know your limits.  Remember the date is about the two of you getting to know each other, no all night party.  If you need like you need to have a good night out, make plans with you buddies the next day.

Dating Advice:  Don’t make her uncomfortable

Come on man!  Stop staring at her and say something.  It’s a good sign if you’re attracted to her, but you can let her know with a nice compliment by telling her you think she looks pretty.  A good compliment isn’t telling her she has a nice set of tits.  We need to use some class her men.  Treat her like a lady with respectful compliments and nice gestures.

Dating Advice:  Don’t bring up your ex-girlfriends

This is a major don’t when you’re on a date with a new girl.  Make sure the conversation never leads back to old relationships and if it does you have you be general.  Never be ex-girlfriend specific.  Bringing up an ex-girlfriend lays the foundation that you still have feelings for her.  You will want the new girl to think that she is the only one in your life.  If you plan on moving forward to find love and a relationship you’ll have to stay mum on ex-girlfriend conversation, until you trust each other enough to open up.

Dating Advice:  Don’t flirt with other girls

You think you’re the dude, you probably are but when you’re on a date with a girl, you are with just here put the flirting.  Make sure you give your date full attention.  That’s what she deserves, the gentlemen she is looking for and give her a date she soon won’t forget.

Dating Advice:  Don’t make a complicated date

What I mean by don’t make the date complicated is, don’t plan on making her meet your parent on the first date or even second.  You’ll have to keep things simple, find out things about each other and build some trust.  This can take him.  Moreover, I would suggest meeting some friends even before you take her home.  You’ll really want to make sure this girl is the real deal.  Also, you’ll probably scare her off if you’re taking her home to your parents on the first date.

Dating Advice:  Don’t take her there

Guys, you need to know the appropriate places to take a girl on a date.  If you want to be success you’ll need to know that a nice restaurant with good food and quiet atmosphere is a place to be.  You should never take her out to a busy sports bar or a nightclub.  This will surely send the wrong signs.  You want her to think you’re trying to win her over, so out to meet other girls or so you can watch the game on the big screen.

Dating Advice:  Don’t get too personal

Don’t go over board on the personal details.  If you think there is a funny story you want to tell her about you and your buddies at a party in college, stop.  There doesn’t need to be any embarrassing details revealed.  Keep the conversation on point to things that actually matter.  Keep it to things that will allow you to know exactly the type of person you are.  There will be plenty of time in the future for you to tell embarrassing stories.

If you follow these dating tips on what not to do on a first date you should have much success.  She will for sure want to see you again.  Apply this advice to your next date and let me know how it goes.
